it is! its the JDM model so SBDC105/SPB147- its all the same you know. Put it on a staib mesh and am waiting for some Slimfat springbars to make it a little tighter of a fit. absolutely love the watch and will recommend it to anyone

That's the drawback with CB straps. Although a beautiful fit, look, and high quality material; the rigidity of it lays hard on the wrist. There's no forgiveness with it. Also the fact you can't lay it flat on your dresser or desk is maddening! I took it off my new Sumo. I tried hard to like it. Love the look, but wasn't happy with the feel. The bracelet feels so much better.

I second Bartons. I have a few of their rubber straps for smaller 20mm divers and am very happy. Very nice strap for only $20. Their canvas straps looks really cool too.

The reason I don’t wear my CB is because it also presses on my wrist bone. The turtle doesn’t sit flat. It’s raised because of the curve end links of the CB. I would highly recommend the Barton Elite Silicone in Navy. It’s not a bright Navy. It matches well. Barton has many colors. The strap isn’t a lint magnet, and it’s comfortable. My turtle now sits flat on my wrist.

Barton also has straps with two different colors. You mentioned a orange turtle. They have a strap with orange on top and black on the bottom Elite Silicone. Or just all orange.

This one. Suwa Grand Quartz 9943-8030 from July 1978. HSS case, blizzard dial, accurate to 10 seconds per year (!).

A steal on eBay for £100. I have a feeling one day the world will catch up to these super-quartzes...

Thanks, Brian! Just ordered some parts yesterday to tweak one of my skx divers. Should have it done next week. Don't know what's more fun, the tinkering, or the results.
