Damn do I want one of those 38mm chronos. Unfortunately for me there aren't any boutiques around me.

But on to the 38...I asked if they had one of the promo pieces and it turned out they did have the white dial blue sub version in so I tried it...and WOW...it's got nearly PERFECT proportions and is a complete Daytona killer...especially at the market pricing. Id go as far to say if it were measured, it would be more like 38.5-39mm, as it fits almost identically to a Daytona, but presents extremely well. I ended up ordering one, which is something I thought I wouldn't do (or would even be able to ) but they had one more allocation left for the year. It really is the perfect "gentleman" sport Chrono.

You can see it here, but the 38 is the exact same thickness as the 41mm, which really gives it some heft...

Thanks for sharing.

When will be the arrival date of the 26315st? It’s so beautiful.

He means the date window position, not the actual date wheel in the window.

The date positioning on the ROCs makes the WIS OCD in me go crazy.

I was happy to see that the new 42mm TI ROO (which uses the same movement) has a properly centered date.

I'm so glad you posted these pics-- thank you.

I have a 26480ti coming in (deposit down on it), and now I'm genuinely concerned if I'm going to be able to pull off that watch. You can barely pull it off from the pics, with a 7" wrist, and I have a 6.5" wrist.......... so, I might be in big trouble.

Blind buy, eh? I would be concerned as well, but should be easy to unload it if need be...

Yup. Lol. But so was my 15202.
This is a VERY hard piece to get since it was released and I absolutely love it. I’m really keeping my fingers crossed that it fits but if it doesn’t they know I will have to sell. So no hard feelings

Curious if anyone else has photos of these? I've only been able to find a few online.

Why do you think AP chose not to go with an exhibition caseback? I think it shares the same movement as the 42 Offshore lineup which does include one?

No it’s the same movement as 41mm ROC, that also comes closed case back.

They still use the old Frederic Piguet movement for the ROC.

Older is not necessarily inferior.

No exactly. Never had any issues with it on my 26300.
Who said it's inferior?

I do think the "market" is waiting for an inhouse movt. for the ROC's as well though.

F. Piguet 1185 is a legendary chrono movement which I think AP should keep using it in ROC. Just like I don’t want to see the replacement of JLC 920 with an in-house movement in the Jumbo.

I walked by the boutique in Prague and asked. They also said these would be arriving in September. They told me that there are people that are interested but none have paid in full for them yet. As far as allocation goes, the SA told me 3 of each dial this year
