This includes some mesmerizing handmade watches to that i like to have them in a separate space in the house together with my Rolexes but sometimes the real value jewelry have a more symbolic meaning. I'm referring to a personalized name necklace that I recently bought online for my wife, and she never stopped wearing it since the first day she got it. It's our favorite picture from one of our trips on a necklace that was custom-made.

I dont think I ever posted a piece I had made for my wife in this thread (maybe another thread?)...

I designed it as a tribute to my wifes love for our departed pet.

I drew these up in Photoshop as a reference for the jeweler... I told them I wanted a real 'arts and crafts/mission style' hand made turn of the century feel to the piece.

this is the finished bracelet in about 80grams of .999 Platinum

Just got this neat Oliver Cabell leather bracelet to wear along with my watch. I've never had a bracelet like this and I'm excited to give it a try!

That’s a really cool design, on the render the stippling looks a little deeper, but otherwise a great match

Curious why the .999 and not 950 purity ?

And really, let's talk about costume jewelry! I'm ready to talk about it indefinitely because, for me, it's a topic I always want to come back to. I grew up in a family where my mother would draw models of future jewelry, and my father would put all her ideas into action. He was an excellent jeweler, and she was an incredible artist. I grew up in an atmosphere of creativity and love, so I have a very reverent attitude to jewelry making.

wearable emergency asset for the wife... it's always available to sell if she needs it and the metal really flies under the radar. Purity matters.

I am thinking about getting a similar one done for me... A little heavier of course.

.999 somehow makes it an emergency asset over .950? Not really a valid answer...

then I can't help you understand the validity... and that's because validity isn't the issue.

Always nice to have something custom made.

You’ve mentioned before about the need for emergency assets. Do you live in a particularly dangerous or financially unstable part of the world ?

My concern would be selling something like this in an emergency would only yield pennies on the dollar.

What’s everyone think about Bobby White, bespoke jeweler in London, England? He is very talented and makes some really cool stuff. Check out his YouTube videos. The lion pendant covered in diamonds is sick AF. I am a Leo and my alma mater is Penn State and their mascot is a Nittany Lion

I'd guess it's not jewelry if it doesn't have jewels.

YM with JUC. I like the contrast between rose and yellow.
