Asking for advice, what is a good price for a Pre comex 5513?
I've got the itch for a pre comex dialed 5513.
For one in dare I say "good condition" what is a reasonable price. For arguments sake, we'll say the average condition that people are asking the it seems approx $13K for. Thank you in advance for all the helpful, sincere, responders. |

Is $11,500 ok for this or not??
Original hands, etc. Supposedly all 100% original. |

Ok, going to pull the trigger.
I guess this is a question no one wants to risk answering. |

What's the serial number?
Pricing/value is fairly easy to determine through sales sites. |

All I see available currently are priced at: 15,300 13,700 13,500 13,900 13,000 Euro 11,800 Euro 11,750 but the case is very rough Seems if you look back a year or 2 the prices were less, and even less 3-4 years ago. |

I'm naive. Could you please explain what a pre-Comex is?

It is just a fancy name for a type of 5513 dial with larger plots of lume, I guess you could call it a maxi dial also. This dial (I've seen 2 very similar versions were used on the first 5513 comex with the helium escape valve, but no comex logo on the dial yet.
I'm new to this and don't know much yet, so those of you who know more please correct any mistakes in my understanding and description here. |

So I bought it, but it arrived with a luminova glowing under blacklight seconds hand. The seller paid the return shipping and gave an immediate refund. So the hunt continues |

Seller said prior to shipping the hands were original, but I don't think luminova was original, heh. At any rate, when I pointed it out, he did not fight it, he knew it was bad for him so he at least acted correctly and quickly at that point. I did use paypal with fee, so the writing was on the wall. Seller originally wanted only bank wire, which I refused. |
