is this green hand on the proper position? The bezel looks a bit off too.

Hand stack looks wrong, but impossible to tell 100% from that photo

Well of course he would, but I looked at a lot and it does appear wrong to me.

Ask seller to send photo with the GMT hand clearly over the hour hand.

It isn't the position.

The lume plots are all wrong, as well.

The hand stack is wrong in my judgement, but lacking perfect picture, I'll call that undetermined.

That looks like bad photoshop masked by a low res photo to me.

The 2 in the date window being so far off center that it's cropped by the window isn't helping his cause either.

Run for the hills and don't look back!
The gmt hand is clearly photo shopped.

I don't like it at all.. The 2 alone should send red flags up.. More pics if you can get them...

I am pretty bad at this sort of thing. To my eyes that one looks like my 116710. Now I'm worried.

Bet it does not.
Post photo of yours with both the hour and GMT hand at same hour (time).

We can 100% confirm based on that if you are worried

Don't mean to distract from the original thread. I wasn't really THAT worried as I bought it from a top notch seller. I am just bad at authenticating and I hate it.

uh, I'd be more concerned with YOU up in here trying authenticate watches again.. didn't you learn your lesson from a couple of threads ago? Where you had claimed the guy's sub was a fake? You saw 3-4 issues of concern (which is now a running joke btw on that thread ) that you refused to explain any further on what they were despite everybody in the thread telling you to do so, including a mod.

In the end, the watch was real and as a new member here I was very uncomfortable watching it unfold considering you cried out fake from the get go (I would've hated to be in op's position, having a real watch and somebody crying fake)and you clearly don't have the expertise to be authenticating some of these watches.

guys, I wouldn't even listen to "gladiator" .. I feel like people need to be educated on this person. These aren't $200 watches, these are $8,000 and up, leave the authenticating to the experts please.

I got NO intention of arguing or discussing your opinions.

Firstly if you read that thread again closely I never "claimed fake"
I stated that there were 3 things that "concerned" me and "lets here what other say"
I NEVER used the word fake (or genuine) as I do when I can categorically define it!

I come here to help people NOT buy fakes, if anything "concerns" me, I say it, and advise them to get it checked or take other advice.

The 3 things that concerned me on that OP's watch would still concern me to ask the 'person' to get it checked out or take other advice.

I have helped hundreds of people on this and other sites, as I have done on this site.
The original OPs watch in my opinion is fake or highly suspicious, the second posters watch is 100% genuine.

Me? I stick to ONLY commenting on watches/horology and not personal attacks on people.

Finally, I doubt you have even seen or less even handled the fakes that are appearing now, but I could post photos that looked better than that OPs watch and its FAKE!

So I wont be responding to any further claims by you
Adam

I'm a new member and I'm very uncomfortable seeing you try to authenticate watches when clearly you have no business doing this. You saw 3-4 issues on a real watch? lol .. ok.. a mod asked you state the issues, you did not. Not here attacking, just stating facts.

I'm trying to look out for others since you like to give bad advice based on what i've seen.

that other thread would've been 100x better if you had never posted..what does that tell you?

I've warned others, now they can do what they want with the info.
