please help tudor noob
I Bought this blue snowflake 9411/0 that came up from a local seller and I was 99% sure its good, but then looking online at the quality of new fakes that are around its got me nervous.
Ive never seen a fake with the old style tube, so that rests my mind a little bit, the insert looks too good to be fake, the case has wear and seems just like a good used watch. Please help me ease my mind. |

Worth a pause - some parts of it looks really good. Other parts makes me think twice.
1) case looks decent but caseback doesn't have the 9411 marking - mine has the markings and similar era (mine is a 9411/0 like yours) 2) dial looks good but a little too good? I do know the blue dial variation isn't prone to rotting as much as the black but both dial and hands look very "new" Worth getting the thoughts from others |

The dial and hands are also my main concern, however the printing and lume plots look good, Would the back of the dial and hands be a giveaway? |

Isn't the space between 200m = 660ft an indicator of a real or fake dial? Fakes often have too much of a gap - I think yours looks ok. But please study other examples, I'm only repeating something I read here a while back.

Hand backs look odd?
The backs of the hands look shinney, unless someone stabilized them with glue or paint that’s not a good sign? Any other ways to spot real or fake hands? The Beyeler dial looks promising.

I think it looks great, dial, hands, case tutti! The hands may have been color matched however, but all in all a very nice piece!

That would be a steal for todays market! I am not an expert, but that looks very good to me. I'm sure John R will chime in soon, but the insert, dial, case, etc look good to my eyes from what I see. I've also seen MANY SF hands that have that sort of shiny appearance. I've read in some place that Tudor used to have them stabilised themselves. Not sure how true that is, but I have owned 2 Tudors that had that shiny appearance before, and know many other guys that have the same. Pics of mine. |

The dial looks good - I have seen genuine dials with that back. The hands are my only concern now. Otherwise looks good. |
