Can anyone help me figure out what this trade was?
At around 5:45 a guy (a student of Anthony Farrer) tries to sell his watch to a dealer and asks $63k. Dealer offered his own piece in trade (which is what the guy actually wanted). The dealer's piece was a platinum DD2 (they looked at it earlier in the video) but I can't figure out what the student traded the dealer. It looks to be YG or RG with oyster bracelet but I'm not sure what model is like $63k.

I'm still trying to figure out why this young boys parents were letting this kid travel and stay the night with a felon male rub and tug provider? It's not in this episode, but they travel together, without his parents...

I have no idea what this video is about and what “coaching clients” means? Is he teaching people to be flippers / gray dealers? People pay to learn that from YouTubers?

His YouTube channel says he has sold $35 million in watches in 2021. That is pure, unadulterated BS.

it's not too crazy when you think about it. 1 RM can sell for 500k and as we all know, it was easy to sell any and every watch in 2021. revenue is a bs metric because we all know their margins are so low even on the 6 figure watches. you can sell a few RMs in 1 week and clear 1m in revenue just then. pretty sure those weekends they had at trade shows they could just flip multiple RMs in one day which just inflates their numbers lol

All valid points. My favorite jewelry store in the state is like Trax NYC meets "insert YT watch personality here" they have lots of bling to look at and original high end time pieces as well as stuff suitable for the rap crowd. (Iced out APs, Cartiers, rolexes, etc) They report $3.8M in sales annually and they always seem to be packed with a far larger staff than he seems to employ. Wonder what his average sale is. |
