Bittersweet today,
Got the call from the Dr that my wife, my soulmate has thyroid cancer and that it's already spread to her lymph nodes. Seriously, my soulmate.

The only thing I have to say to that is fu k that. NOT HER.

I opened up our standard, run of the mill Cherry Pie for her and also found a Favia Syrah in the cellar. It took the edge off a bit but you know what...I'm still scared.

Sticking with the thread though. If you can get your hands on this Syrah, DO IT!

Heartbreaking. We had a scare with the same issue last year with my bride. Praying for you and her.

As for Favia, its an up and comer in Napa, very highly regarded because of the owner/winemakers pedigree and track record. Andy knows it all regarding Napa winemaking and the sky is the limit for them going forward. If you haven't already, get on his mailing list, his allocations are filling fast if there are any left, haven't checked in a while.

Thank you everyone, the more we learn about it the more we are optimistic.

Marc, we've been on the mailing list for a while now, we buy about half the time. Been trying to score a lot of hundred acre right now, the 19's have been ridiculously good with no decant. We had a 19 Ark last week, blew us out of the water. Followed that up with an 01 Rieussec.

I'm trying to give her as many experiences as I can throughout this journey we're going on now.

We’re making Handcrafted soaps, lotion bars, soy candles, and soy wax melts. We’ve been developing them over the last 3 years. I was not into artisanal soaps before my wife started making them, but I’m all in now. The lather is amazing and they rinse clean. Plus we make a shave and beard bar now and I love them.
