FS: 1978 Rolex 18K YG Submariner 1680/8 Matte Black Nipple Dial

Description: Case: The recently polished 18k yellow gold case is excellent showing sharp prominent bevels and only light wear from use. The bezel insert is also excellent and is fading to a deep navy blue hue. Dial: The matte black nipple dial is excellent showing only very light wear for its age. The dial does have one very small spot located just above and to the left of the o in "Oyster". The lume has aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands have been relumed and color-matched to the dial. Bracelet: The 12 link 18k yellow gold Oyster bracelet is excellent showing only light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1979 date code. Accessories: None. Notes: The subtle blue of the insert plays off the gold and black very nicely making this 1680 one of the more striking gold Subs we've seen.
