Not sure what I am doing wrong, I can’t get a shipping option outside of the Americas.

Are you on the eu website? No problem for me - ordered one to SG. Maybe turn off your vpn if you have one.
80 euros shipping is crazy (i guess because the package is 5kg??) but the 15% off made me feel a bit better

lol cheaper to pay in USD, use ezbuy and i checked out.
go to the USA site
shipping to US ezbuy address is free
ezbuy to sg probably 20 sgd.
why pay 80 euros

i only paid 212.50 USD after discount

The best thing about HODINKEE articles is reading the comments where people who can’t find AP at retail, hating on the RO…

They’re also the same people hating on Patek and Rolex because they can’t find those at retail either

right? It's non stop 'one trick pony', 'no variation' type comments in regard to AP. But they'd be licking their chops *if* they could get one

It's funny because outside of watches people will say 'no need to expand outside of what you're best at'. AP does exactly that, and gets criticized. AP then tries to expand a bit with things like Code, and gets criticized. It seems everybody always wants to hate on them for some reason.

Just my general perception over the last ~15 years of collecting. I've never really understood it.

It's a nice little booklet, nothing earth shattering, but I can't wait for the actual 50th book. The HUGE versions in the AP Houses are pretty cool and I've flicked through a few pages and thus already know what to expect.

@jsol, this has to be the most interesting and well received post ever thanks.

Code doesn't work for me either now. I guess we're late to the game on this one.
