Congratulations! That is my wish to collect in 2023.

I don't see Code in your collection. Is it hidden or you don't have one?

Did your boutique have any comments on the 26331 sale?

One sale in 10 years. Sold to a friend at list who was also a customer of the boutique. They didn’t have any concerns.

Are you good looking? Sometimes that helps

Fantastic acquisitions. I myself have not been able to get even 1 skeleton, much less 2.

Ah, the "per year" part makes quite a difference. Although I hope they'll spread the love around a bit more (in particular in my direction ).

Off the top of my head, and AP acquisitions only counted, it was something like this:

15400 -- from an AD in 2013 (my wife actually bought me my first AP).
15703 -- bought a few months later from an AD
15707 -- bought from AP boutique in Japan in December 2013
26400 -- sometime in 2014 bought from AD
26331 -- AP NYC boutique 2017
26237 -- Beast Reissue from NYC Boutique in 2018
15407 -- NYC Boutique 2020
26574 -- NYC Boutique 2021
15510 -- NYC Boutique 2022
15416 -- NYC Boutique 2022

I also bought a number of accessories, bracelets, etc over time from the boutique. Nothing huge value, just consistent purchases. Had all my watches serviced through them as well.

Thank you. Been a huge admirer of your pieces all the way back to the Bumble Bee if I remember correctly and your issues with forged carbon cases. While I will never attain a collection like yours, it is truly inspirational.

One non-AP piece that is a ton of watch for the money is the Master Extreme Lab 2. Radial power reserve, jumping digital minute chronology, GMT, skeletonized dial, quick change strap system with articulating lugs, and on.

You did okay on the QP if I remember correctly. And the VC is amazing. I think there is some reversion to the mean going on at AP so over the next few years those who are patient yet persistent should be rewarded.

Most of the pieces pictured have not been worn much until recently. Lived in Manhattan for a long time and never gave much thought about where and when I wore my watches until the Fresh Direct delivery guy commented on my Nautilus. That kind of spooked me so I put them away in a safe. I just wore my Rolexes, JLC and other brands. Now that I moved to where no-one pays any attention to watches they are getting more wear, rotating in and out of the safe deposit box.

congratulations and wear in the best of health! what a collection and journey and gives some hope for normies haha

do you mind sharing if you're pretty intentional with your SA (I want A, B exact spec) or keep it generic with a pool of pieces you'd be happy to purchase from if any are allocated? (ex. any open worked, any ceramic, etc.).

Did you share a little roadmap already where it covers all the pieces you'd happily buy?

thanks

Pretty general, I indicated I would take anything on a ceramic bracelet. And from his perspective he knows that after he goes to bat for me and gets whatever approvals he needs, he knows I will always close.

Amazing collection and wear it in good health! I’m on my 12th AP too but no skeletons as yet.

I also find it’s all about the SA and the boutique manager; I’ve had a few that didn’t quite work out and others that were stellar and have since moved on!

I haven’t sold a single piece I’ve sourced from the AD yet only those I buy from fellow collectors so that does appear to work and they love that.

Gorgeous collection and congrats once again!
