Added this Bad Boy to the collection (Green Diver)
It's the second green Omega from the 2022 Novelties line. I also have the 57' Speedy in green.

Nice-
I see Ann Arbor- Lewis Jewelers? That green rubber is sweet. I have the green Shinola Monster, so this one would be a little redundant for me, but it looks great! |

Lol. Yes, this watch was from Lewis Jewelers. My 57' Speedy was from the Omega Boutique in Troy, which closed down about 9 months ago, much to my chagrin. Where in Michigan do you reside?

Congrats! I just got the same watch last week on the rubber strap and it's become my new favorite.

I absolutely love the rubber strap. Did you get it with a deployment clasp or pin buckle? I chose the pin buckle but I'm starting to wonder if I should get the deployment clasp instead.

Mine came on the deployant but I immediately put the watch on the bracelet from my grey dial which I have on the rubber with the tang buckle. I didn't notice any huge advantage with the deployant when the watch is on my wrist, the only main benefit was how much easier it is to take on and off. I'll wear my green dial on the bracelet anyway the majority of the time and the grey dial on the blue rubber since I think it looks best that way.

Yes, I've had a 39-year love affair with the color green. I can't explain it, and I know it's irrational, but since I was a little boy if I saw an item in green and any other color, I choose green. It's that way for just about anything but cars, and even that is changing since BMW has some killer greens now. I have 7 green electric guitars. It's kinda silly, tbh. But I like what I like.

Great piece, especially on the rubber over the bracelet. I bought mine on the bracelet and added the green rubber on a deployment. Super comfortable watch in that format. Enjoy!!!

Awesome. I bought it on the bracelet and switched to the strap as well. I might switch to the bracelet in the summer, but I love the strap.

I was at Somerset about 2 weeks ago and they still have a large sign that the Omega boutique is reopening in Fall of 2022 haha. We will see- they were always really nice in there and very knowledgeable, but usually about 4-5 employees that looked very bored. Word is Tapper's is opening a new store in Novi soon and will have the Omega line available. I have a pretty good relationship with them, but they have a LOT of big spenders, so I understand I am low on the pecking order. They do seem to appreciate watch enthusiasts and I have been able to score some decent watches from them with little spend history (DJ 41 Wimbledon and Tudor Pelagos FXD) SA will call when they can officially buy Omega and I'll get a Moonwatch from them. |
