AP Replaced my Movement but with what

Last year Beverly Hills AP sent my 1984 4100BA back to Le Brassus for a complete overhaul. It came back a few months later with a completely new movement, new crown with the AP logo (they did not give my old crown back) and a quick-set function for the date too - which is nice.

No paperwork indicating which movement they installed and Beverly Hills AP went radio silent after I paid them.

Not sure what it is based on a brief conversation I had when I picked it up but does anybody know which movement they upgrade Series lll Royal Oaks with ? Is this something that anybody can open the watch and verify or should I just leave it be ?

Why don’t you call AP Clearwater and ask- can’t be a huge mystery?

It was not sent to Clearwater but was required to go to Switzerland.
What….just call clearwaters front desk and ask them what exactly ? Why would they be of any value in determining this ?

I can give it a shot but….looks like it could be a 2225.

I believe it to be a 2325 caliber now. After a bit of research I believe I recall that is the new movement.
