Fair or stupid trade?

That's nice but a BLNR with PCL makes a tool watch into a dress watch pretty well. Personally, I've had 2-3 DJ, all SS but I can't live with out a couple GMT's so they were sent away. Although not fond of the BLNR colors I think it's a better choice Root beer gone but really a nice one 16710.. the perfect watch

You should have followed your first instinct. Pick up a datejust 36mm in the configuration that works for you. Pic of mine below on a 7.25 in wrist. 5 digit, which wears a little smaller. Six digit version will be perfect for your wrist size. The ultimate suit watch and way under rated IMO. Do it, you wont regret it, plus you will get cash back to boot!

The BLNR is too similar to the Submariner, and the DJ41 is too big clunky to be a dress watch.
Sell the DJ41 for a Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control so that you will have both a great everyday watch and a true dress watch. |

Keep the BLNR and Sub. Later on, add the DJ 36

BLNR and DJ41... sell the sub. The BLNR is a casual watch that can be worn with suits as well.

May have already been said, but can you trade the sub for the dj?

I think I’m going for that, I may need to put in some extra cash but I think it’s the easier deal to reverse if I end up regretting anything. I think I’ll go to the trusted sellers here for a DJ since I can see it’s available in the combination I want at a fair price, sell the 114060 and keep the blnr. Cheers everyone!
