Service on a new Yacht Master

I am planning on purchasing a new Yacht Master. The dealer has had it in stock since 2013, and I will assume it was in Rolex' inventory before that for a few years since I read that this model was discontinued in 2011. It has been in a display window under bright lights for much of that time. Should this watch have service, such as lubrication at this point, or should it be ready to start wearing?
