Paying for Rolex service while under warranty

Has anyone here had to pay for a Rolex service while their watch was still under warranty, and if so, why?

One example could be if they dropped it, where small shards of glass can fall through the date gap.

If you caused damage to it then yes warranty doesnt cover that.

That's why warranty is not important since most companies do their utmost best not to honour it
