Rolex Gold Bezel Replacement

I'd like to get a pre-owned datejust with gold bezel. But most have been polished and then rounds the sharp angles of the fluted bezel. So I wonder what the cost might be to buy a new gold fluted bezel and have it put on to replace one that's been buffed out. Any ideas??

Probably many hundreds of dollars . .. 'guessing' $700? $800? . ... has the rest of the watch also been too heavily polished?

I just saw a parts receipt for a gold fluted replacement bezel. It was $1700 I believe.

Not surprised. Like a wedding band but more work and more gold content.

With all the swaps to aftermarket diamond bezels there should be a gazillion original fluted bezels for all models available on the market.

There usually are. Even never worn bezels. Some people like the bling right away. Good for people like the OP though.
