That's a good question! How many fine writing instruments do you own?
You can count any pen you consider a truly fine WI.
Me: About 87, give or take 0. Not including Bics!

MB - 30
Visconti - 8 Faber Castell - 2 Dupont - 1 Dunhill - 1 Sheaffer - 1 The Sheaffer was a gift from mom when I was like 10. The Dunhill and Dupont were left to me by my father (I know they are somewhere in the house...) First MB was wedding gift from the wifey, and in between several MBs during the years. Really cranked it up after Xmas 2008. |

Hmmmmm!
I should have added I have been seriously collecting for 6 months. Actually since 1989 when I purchased my first Montblanc.

Whaaaat?! 30 MBs!!! I feel fortunate to own 2. From my prior post, you can see that I own a number of Cross pens (not all made it into that post), and one Pelikan.

Hmmm....... does Crayola count as a fine writing instrument? If so, I have 23 (can't find the green). If not, I guess I don't have any.

Hah! One WAS to my brother, a burgundy MB Le Grand, a MB gold ballpoint to an ex-GF, The Waterford to my current GF (whom I've never seen use THAT one either), and the Porsche Design (Faber-Castell) to my mom. All worthy recipients, except for my ex-GF!
