Can anyone identify this?
Hello all, i would like to ask for information from your community. I found this bezel from a retired watchmakers estate. It was in a rolex paper sleeve, however the model number written on the outside (7926) doesn’t seem to match this bezel. The ridges on the bezel are distinctly different from that of the submariner. Possibly from something older? Hope these pictures come out clear enough. If you need other pictures, please let me know.

Pretty sure that’s a fake.
Never seen that type of retainer spring in a genuine Sub, but I’m no expert. |

The old subs had it. The insert is legit (but is later than the bezel). OP- measure the diameters of the bezel and post them here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Insert inner diameter is approx 30.4
Steel bezel insert outside diameter is 37.4 The the ridges on the bezel seems similar to sub model 6xxx or tudor 752x Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
