Incoming...after 8 months wait

You’d think it was a hulk or something, but no, the elusive seamaster rubber strap buckle!

That is why I bought the rubber strap version (I knew the bracelet was easier to source from Omega vs. rubber strap buckle). Yes, it’s more expensive buying bracelet afterwards but I wasn’t really planning on using bracelet much anyways — in fact, I decided just to keep it on rubber and NATO’s.

Wow, 8 months!!! for a buckle?? My local OB had the buckle and rubber strap perfectly suited for my wrist in stock the day I called them and mailed it to me Priority Express 1 day later.

Totally worth the $300+ by the way, the rubber bracelet makes this watch great!

Do me a big favor and quit posting up that blue one. Every time I see it I can't stop thinking about it. We all know what that leads to.

Oh, I was in my AD yesterday and he mentioned they got the buckle for the strap I ordered for the white Seamaster when I bought it back in January. I don't think they got the strap in yet though. Are those hard to get too?

I was told strap takes about 3 months but the buckle takes 6 (or more). What good is a strap without a buckle???

My strap came in a few weeks...the buckle not so much.

Yup, I agree. This reference looks best in the black strap!

These are great watches! I am enjoying the pics and this is really making me want to get another (possibly on rubber)!

Looks great.

Still trying to find out if this will fit on the older model, I am guessing not, but it would be nice if it did.

Looks great. That watch belongs on the rubber strap. Fits it perfectly.

Maybe...I was able to put the blue one on my speedy pro, so I'd say it's a distinct possibility!

I might have my eye on another meteorite watch as one grail...and/or the platinum motif DD or Platinum Daytona.

Those are probably 10 years away, though.

Honestly, I might like DougieB's black nato/white stripe look the best! This watch looks great so many ways!

Ah interesting thanks. I also have a Moonwatch so I could use it on that if it didn't work. How did it look? Ha, although a rubber strap isn't too necessary on a watch with the water resistance of a Gremlin.

how frustrating. A few years ago, I wanted a really specific rubber strap for my Seamaster GMT. It took the Omega boutique 6 months to get it for me. And the really funny part is that while it looked amazing, it was uncomfortable as hell. Now I wear the thing on a Hirsch leather-lined rubber strap.
