Uncle Seiko US1171 Speedmaster Bracelet

I don't want this to turn into another griping match regarding the modern Speedmaster Bracelet, as the consensus pretty much alludes to the fact that many are unhappy. Count me in the "unhappy" camp.

Since purchasing mine, well it was a gift, but I immediately removed the bracelet in favor of NATO's, and I think the watch works well on the NATO strap.

That said, considering the fact that OEM 1171 bracelets are fairly expensive, just wondering if anybody has tried the Uncle Seiko Omega bracelets? Price is reasonable, and they look the part.

Thx in Advance.

Thanks a bunch! Looks like a happy customer. I'm interested in the President style more than the flat link, but still. Might be pulling the trigger on this.

One thing I will say is that I have really grown to like the rattly bracelet on my recently purchased 14270 Explorer. It's so light and comfortable to wear.

I just got an 1171 for my FOIS. One thing is that the bracelet is really difficult to get on. The hollow end links with the really tight tolerance made it a huge pain to put on.

That looks really good! It is old skool.

I've been happy with the bracelet on my Speedy so far, so haven't tried anything else. I think it came with a NATO or two in the kit but I haven't really looked.

Please post pics of this!

I love the FOIS but I hate that it didn’t come on a bracelet or with a bracelet option (I understand why it didn’t though)

I have the 1171 also. It looks fantastic, is it worth the price? Probably not, its exceptionally tinny but still.

I had to file the end links a little to fit it but found it very easy to fit (I just used my Leatherman and I am generally terrible at that kind of thing).

In terms of the Uncle Seiko one, could be an option but I tend to prefer OEM for bracelets, I don't mind aftermarket leather but even then I have a couple of Omega buckles that I use for them.

I have the uncleseiko President and Mexican bracelets and both are gorgeous. Absolutely love how it made my speedy feel. Right now I’m using the President style and the look is perfect.
