"Explore"ing my new camera...

Ok, got a new camera (an Olympus E-P3) and while I am a novice, I am really happy so far but will head out tomorrow to buy some additional lenses and maybe a tent here in pricey Europe as I only have a pancake. Fun so far! Sorry for the flash on the last one... The crazy thing is that the sweep seconds is somehow darn near synchronized!

I will pay you 3 times the original retail for that 1016? What say you?! It's a good deal I think!

Get one of those tabletop light tents and see a big improvement. You have the camera technicals down, work on your lighting.

Get a Leica. I know nothing about them but their logo is great!

Great photos of some spectacular watches. A 1655 is probably the one I would want next (if it weren't for the >$10K price tag for a nice one)...

Next is some more watches to keep your camera busy. If you are getting into shooting watches, get yourself a macro lens and a tripod, and shoot in better lighting conditions than your tentative shots above.

No flash, natural light, or a light cage, but that's a different story.
