Holiday Rolex.

Hi All,

Bought my Sub last week in Hong Kong on holiday and only after extensive consultation on this forum. THANKS GUYS!!
Was tempted to go Pre-owned, but after a quick visit there, decided the pre owned game should be left with the experienced. But they did have a great selection. Not disappointed with my choice though!

I don't know if or when I'll ever be able to own another but I know that I'm not the type to "flip" watches. I laugh sometimes reading posts here, I can read between the lines that some have the same hoarding symptoms like me. And I wonder what else everyone else is "collecting".

Cheers All!!

I have a bad habit of buying things when at a new place for the first time. I use guise of memory making. I think it's a great way to remember an all star trip, like to Hong Kong. Well done!

Beautifully balanced watch. But after owning it for less than 6 months, realised that I needed the date function. Traded for GMTII C

Thanks for all the kind words guys. It's a shame I came into the Rolex game a bit late, but I have always liked the 16610LV. I only found out is was discontinued when I was here in HK. I have high hopes of some day saving enough for one and hopefully some flipper out there has a BNIB.

Congrats!! Great pick, but I'm biased as I chose the same for my first as well! 11 months of owning and I still get that feeling when looking down at this watch. Enjoy!!!
