Blue Arabic dial on TT Daytona
I am leaning toward getting TT Daytona with the blue Arabic dial. I have never seen one in person. I have the 116613 sunburst blue sub and SS blue dial yachtmaster. When I look at pictures of the TT Daytona with the blue dial, the dial almost looks black. It seems to be very dark? Is it a dark navy blue? Is it a matte dial or shiney dial like you see on subs? Is it easy to read? I am in my fifties and loved the black stainless but at times found it difficult to read depending on the lighting. Thanks for your help.

It is a darker blue. Not quite navy, but appears almost black in certain lighting.

Yes it is darker and flatter, I have the first two you have, if you go for a third blue then well done, I was maybe thinking of a D-Blue.

Agree with Neil. Looked at the 116523 a few months ago and it was definitely darker and flatter. But, stunning watch nonetheless.
Interestingly enough, the newer 116503 pictures show the blue to be more vibrant...don't know if this is just a product of lighting, angle, and photography. I would love to see one in the flesh, as the updated bezel is so nice. Fifties/legibility concerns? You're better off with another model, IMO. |
