Omega Green Seamaster DE VILLE 1342

Couldn't resist this green gold filled 'redial'. Perfectly restored. Fun to wear. But not a collector's item.

This post jinxed the Omega. The hour hand stuck one hour after I posted the picture. And now, the minute function quit as well. I'm taking the watch back to the jeweler tomorrow and exchange it. Teaches me another lesson on buying older watches.

I mean....it prob just needs a service so not a big deal if you like the watch. I kinda dig it, reminds me of a stella dial datejust.

Took the Omega back to the jeweler. Since he is located in the LA Jeweler's Market, we walked the watch over his Omega repair shop one block away. They explained what the problem was and would take care of it at their expense. The gears were out of alignment. The owner also extended 100% return/warranty policy for six months. I agreed to keep the watch. Thanks!
