Exactly

PS The watch according to TRF resident experts has been discontinued since Basel only AD's don't know it yet as they can still order it and they are being delivered.

If every Rolex reference was included in the catalogue you would need a need a warehouse to store them in! (That is catalogues!)

The store manager asked me to look through the sports watch sections as there was something missing. The green sub was still there. The BLNR gone! Does not exist in the brochure. Meaning no more production of the BLNR.

Yes there are pieces of current new BLNR stock dribbling through but once they're gone they are gone!

Don't believe me? BS?

Go find the new brochure and see for yourself! Or talk to a an AD about ordering one.

Brochure does not show every piece Rolex makes, just a selection, remember is costs money to print......no disco on the dance floor.

Here’s some unwanted advice to the OP:

OP, you may be right, you may be wrong, but thanks for reporting the information and sorry for all the incendiary replies. The tone of the replies would have been different if you had just reported the fact that the BLNR was missing from the new printed brochure — and maybe asked whether in the past that was an indication of anything. Let the members respond or draw their own conclusions.

In general, it’s never a good idea to put “officially” and anything Rolex-related in the same sentence — unless of course it was explicitly announced by Rolex (again, in general). I think that’s what mostly draws the ire of the members.

Rolex does this deliberately surely? I do not believe Rolex are disco’ing the BLNR. At most it’ll reappear in the next year or two with the new movement looking more or less identical.

However clearly they didn’t print the brochure and accidentally leave the BLNR out. Sure I get that they can’t list every single current model in there, but come on! The straight thing to do would be to make the space by dropping one of the googolplex variations of DJ from the catalogue given the BLNR’s popularity.

Either somebody at Rolex has a sense of humour or they’re deliberately messing with AD’s/punters to stimulate the hype. No?

It makes no sense to me that Rolex would discontinue a top selling piece..Therefore I believe it.

Of course it will be eventually discontinued. It doesn't have the latest movement.
