~~Incoming, My First Rolex~~

Been a lurker here lately, just browsing everyone’s photos and falling in love with more and more different references. I was fortunate enough to have a fellow TRF member and friend supply me with this lovely piece. Couldn’t be happier, and it looks so much better in person!

My very first Rolex Explorer II 16570. Doubt it’ll be my last..

That’s a great reference. I like that one over the 6 digit version.

Enjoy !

Have that very same Explorer II. I like it better than the new version (although that may be just because I am familiar with it). I very much like the brightness of Rolex white dials. A Rolex white dial is like know other watch brands white.

Thanks everyone! So far I’m loving it! Wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about the 40mm case since I’m a little more used to larger sizes at 42-45mm

Congratulations! Different models wear differently. I always get the feeling though that the Daytona wears a bit small, just a bit.
