Yup. This is my exact experience except I was underwater on a dive and hit a stone bridge pier and not a mark. A metal watch would have been seriously damaged . Carbotech is in a different league of luxury watch material. |

Was absolutely blown away and couldn’t even wrap my mind around it. It’s as if this material came from Area 51. I remember your comments awhile back about that time you hit it against the stone pier. Just wow. Also, last night I was changing strapS and admiring the perfect weight. It’s so perfect. It does not feel inferior or cheap. It feels incredibly expensive and indestructible. This watch never leaves my wrist. There’s never a worry in sight. I’ve never experienced joy like this before with any other watch I’ve owned. And it’s absolutely beautiful to look at.

Hi,
Can I ask about the movement noise for the P9010. My rotor noise is a bit greater than other wacthes I have. However, when its not rotating and I move the watch from a vertical position, it should like the whole movement is rocking backwards/forwards. The good news is the timekeeping is perfect. I wonder if the carbotech case makes the noise worse. I recorded the sound here (you need to remove spaces) gofile . io / d / zAd5tq Note, the microphone was pressed against the watch. First 7 seconds is no movement where you can hear the beat for reference. Thanks Rog |

The 9010 is loud due to ceramic bearings and, yes, the carbo case amplifies the sound. My BMG does the same whereas the Bronzo isn’t as loud.

^^Yes. Think of Carbotech as a Martin acoustic guitar body. As tough and solid as it is, it gives the inside of the movement more sound resonance. Even more so than ceramic. I love this as the 9010 movement has a very metallic ring/tick I can clearly hear.

Thanks, personally I do not mind it. Was just concerned something was wrong inside.

I'll say it... I have a 1312 with the same movement and I don't like the noise. I find it cheapens the experience when I hear it, everytime I wear it.
