See Through Caseback on RO Chrono

Thinking about pulling the trigger soon, but really appreciate the see through caseback. Is there any speculation whether this will be added in the near future?

I decided to not wait and go ahead with current ROC. If and when the new ROC is released, in a size that’s to my liking, I would decide how to proceed by either adding or replacing. Too many ifs and when’s in play here. I’m happy with my decision. Lack of a case back on a face as gorgeous as that doesn’t bother me and doesn’t take away from the ownership experience.

Another thing to keep in mind that I think people often overlook. A sapphire caseback may add to the heft of the watch. For many people, it would likely be irrelevant. But for some, I'd be a bit careful what you're holding out for. That's much more the situation with AP, as most of them already wear quite large anyway.

Now, the above said, all else being equal I am in the camp of definitely wanting to see the movement if it is nicely finished (which it would be with an AP). But I wouldn't hold off on a purchase unless I was certain this was going to happen. If I am not mistaken, this has been speculated for quite some time and nothing has come about.

I had the same thoughts asks decided not to wait for a couple of reasons. The sapphire case back and in house movement would probably add some thickness (based on other in house chrono) and would probably come with a price rise
