Unconfirmed Rumor: Ref. 5235G Black Dial

I can't confirm, but I think the subject line should start a nice little discussion here.

Thanks for the support, and if you can give me pointers on how best to use this forum let me know i'm a newbie, as I'm sure you can tell.

Would be interested to see how that dial works. Isn't one of the selling points of the 5235 the brushed dial?

As Roger says it's a very friendly site. Just post away and you'll be fine

I'd love to hear your thoughts on your 5170g black dial.

it's a super watch, i love it to be honest. At first I thought the size would be an issue since i'm a 5070 addict, but i'm wrong it's perfect. I know people don't like the dropped chrono but it works, really does. Let's hope Patek doesn't over produce this piece like it has with many other reference and completely screw up the market on them.

That would be interesting. Maybe even harder to read than the current though! Rolf

no thanks.
the brushed dial is what makes this watch so cool and unique (well aside from being a regulator)

I love, love, love the dial as it is.

Thanks. It's really high on my wish list - I think you are the first owner on the forum, so good to hear your view. I tried one on a few weeks ago and was really impressed.

Hey bro - welcome to TRF.

There are some very well informed users on here. There aren't many real pointers - just post any questions or topics for debate and then take it from there.

IMO, the dial is perfect as is with the brushed look and blue accents. It's the best part of the 5235G.

Your black dial seems a little easier to read than the brushed original!

Not much better contrast than white against black, but that brushed dial is unique.

JZ welcome to TRF and good to see you here. As for black 5235 it could be nice addition but imagine it would be tough to read unless executed perfectly. I like the mock up above with white hands and that could do the trick. Look forward to more of your posts...Cheers, K

I hope this happens and logically it should. However, probably my advise has and will not be asked for in the future.

5235 with that dark blue of the 5726 mock up above could be nice.
