Nope. If she wanted a diamond, would she be satisfied with a ruby?

Mine wouldn't anyway. I'd still have to buy the diamond down the road.

Bb41

Not sure about the hate and vitriol but I sure do like
my Black Bay 41.
It’s light on the black fabric “NATO”,
extremely legible snowflake hands,
“thin” case thanks to the 2824-2
and runs easily within COSC.

Came here to post that I have not experienced any date wheel issues on my GMT. My Tudor has been great so far

GMT still going strong. Just got back from a week long cruise where she performed admirably in all phases including sun, sand and sea.

This one just traveled through Amsterdam, Paris and London from US. More low key than the BLRO or BLNR. Such a cool and amazingly legible watch, so useful at a glance. The GMT hand is a beauty and the hacking local time is easy peasy. Best app I have

They make one of my favorite watch designs ever. My BB41 gets so much wrist time. Also, don’t understand how a fan of Rolex and their heritage would turn their nose at a pretty big part of Rolex history (the Tudor brand).

Recently swapped out an Omega Railmaster for a Black Bay Chrono to compliment my Submariner. Lovely two watch collection now.

Just put my leather strap back on today. Forgot how much I love this watch on leather since I've had it on the bracelet recently for a couple of trips. This watch recently did a week long Caribbean cruise as well as a work trip out west. Cannot say enough about this watch, it has been the perfect travel watch.

Very nice picture.
I have it also on the Siena Leather and believe it or not, I skipped picking up a Rolex BLRO for this very exact model combination. I know that many see the Tudor GMT on bracelet only, but to me, the amazing Vintage design of this watch is greatly enhanced on the leather strap. Also the Nato straps match this stunning design so so well.
A beautiful keeper.

I prefer the Tudor GMT over the BLRO. Too much bling on the BLRO for me, and I just don't think they work well on leather. The Tudor has sort of a playful personality that tends to work well with various leather, rubber and nato straps. Both of my Rolexes have stayed on their bracelets.

I would agree if we are talking 16750 but if you are referring to the 126710 I would disagree. The 126710BLRO is a blingy piece of jewelry and would not have the same look on leather.

Black Bay for me.

Could use some help though as I'm having an issue with it today. I'll ask this here before starting another thread.

First three weeks (from new) it ran within +/-1 SPD. Then last night—overnight—it went down to -8 SPD. See pics for the timing logs and before and after plots.

Could it have just settled or broken-in that drastically? In daily use, I top it off on a winder when I'm out running or riding; and set it down dial-up overnight.

Just concerned about a sudden 8 second drop in accuracy even if it seems to be behaving according to the timegrapher.

Thanks!

Hello,
Yes of course we can put a leather band on the Rolex but what I liked about the Tudor is the type of leather band and the design with a clasp but also and more importantly the colors of the bezel and the size of the case. I couldn’t help not to prefer it over the BLRO. My Rolex pick had to shift toward the Diver category, which in my humble opinion, is the one category no one other watch brand can beat.

After much deliberation over the last few days the 58 is the winner for me.
I like many of the Black Bay range, so not an easy choice, but I think the size of 39mm was the main deciding factor.
