Man that looks great on you!

I am liking the brushes steel version. Have you tried on any other iterations of the watch?

Yeah, I fell in love with the Brushed Titanium, The steel is also nice in brushed finish, I preferred the darker titanium of the two. I tried on the dark ceramic, its a beautiful finish, a little heavier than the Titanium, the one I tried on had dark hands so the contrast on the dial made it hard to tell the time so passed on that one.
Also tried on the skeleton version in ceramic, again, hard to tell the time so passed.

Haven't seen the new polished Steel version in the flesh yet, will wait to try on before I pass judgment. It does have better water resistance 100m vs 30m so that's nice.

A pic of the back, it trully is amazing and that micro rotor.....

Yes. I am in an emotional battle between steel 30m wr or waiting until July to handle the new 100m steel version.

May as well wait and see if you like the new finish, certainly would be nice to get the extra WR. Good Luck, can't go wrong either way

The previous steel ref is coated in rhodium. Fully expect that finish to wear off if you're actually going to wear the piece

Loving my steel version. Gets many compliments from non watch people, so nice conversation starter. Easy to dress up or down.

Not an owner but recently had the pleasure of trying them on. Definitely a modern icon.

The hardness of Rhodium is lower than that of the steel substrate. When you have desk diving marks or buttons that cause marks and scratches on steel watches, or drops or doorknob smashes that deform the material underneath, consider a softer material impermanently bonded to the substrate and how the coating will gradually be removed.

The contrast is not going to be as obvious as a black coating on a steel watch when it wears off and the steel underneath shows, but it still is just a coating. Even "diamond like" DLC has proven to rub off over time, imagine the protruding edges of a watch constantly being abraded. This Rhodium is much softer than DLC.

Go naked steel if you're really going to wear the watch

Appreciate this advice. I am going to ride it out until January and get the steel model. Although very tempted to even purchase pre owned titanium as a tide over.

I feel as though this piece is on its way to being a classic.

See, when I saw that one it looked like a Men’s Express type vibe to me. As well, from reading other threads I am told the ceramic bracelets have drama with the clasp.
