Talk me into or out of a Tudor

Heritage Monte Carlo Blue

My Sub is in for service, not ready to commit 8k for a BLNR. Want a new watch and saw one of these for the first time on a thread here today.

Depends if

1)wearing a Tudor watch will bother you as it is a brand relatively unknown to Americans,

2) or if you love it and don't care what others think.

Most useful and versatile watch I own. Mine gets more wear than both my Daytona and Speedmaster. Got mine tax free last time through Heathrow. awesome piece.

I tried this watch on last week while waiting for the ad to size me new explorer II, let me tell you I will definetly be adding this piece to my collection in the near future. It fits very comfortably on both the bracelet and the strap. It feels great on the wrist and it looks even better.

Seems like a great option to go with a Sub! Add a little color and a little chrono into the mix for a reasonable price. Has a great vintage look too!

The price is good on Tudor now. Better buy it and enjoy it! I like it to be a low profile watch.

great watch and great addition to any collection. It gives you a totally different look/feel with both the bands.

The 2892 movement is superb, and although some grumbled abotut the DD chrono module when these first came out, mine has been running 24/7 in perfect synch for over two years. I last set the time last April and, with some but not much overnight positioning, it is currently just ten seconds fast.

I much prefer the grey to the blue, though, for several reasons.

Nothing wrong with a Tudor...

I nearly bought the Black Bay Dark in ATL this week but they didn't have one with the bracelet. Good thing they didn't...

Do it. Awesome watches, compelling history, excellent timepieces. I have one and am currently plotting the acquisition of another.

Love the orange accents as part of either color combination!

The THC is a wonderful watch. I planned to buy one for myself but am going to present one to my brother who is just getting into watches. Actually debating between two different Tudors, the THC and the ranger. Love both those pieces.

Tried this on last week. Great watch, could be added next year.

Go for it!

Tudors are really a lot of fun.
I only got into their Chronos (the big block and 792x0) earlier this year but I constantly rotate them along with my Rolexes.

If I were to get the THC, I prefer the grey dial.

Its a great watch, I would buy one preowned though, as there is a significant discount.

Bought a Pelagos about a year or so ago, and have loved every minute of it. But, I'll admit, not every Tudor appeals to me. So...as Dan said, buy what you like.
