Noice! Good choice.

A year ago, I purchased that model with no idea about Rolex. Except that it is my first Rolex. After my Tag and Seiko.

Here's an excerpt of my review which I intend to publish in its entirety when I have the same courage and enthusiasm as swilling my beer and wine and eating my food:

It's so nice and pretty.
Sometimes I just admire that blue dial and WG Roman numerals without really looking what time it is. A few times I confused the seconds hand to be the minute hand due to its hight polish.

Depending on the ambient light the blue dial makes a fantastic colour change between cerulean and obsidian blue. Mid blue to very dark blue.

The movement? Let's just put it this way: Same movement as the Submariner 116610LN. The Rolex workhorse 3135.

Wear it most days, as power reserve isn’t really 48 hours.
Each month, I wash it with a soapy soft art brush , pat it dry with a soft cloth and adjust the time based from the official US time. Every month, it gains about 30 seconds or so. Hmmmm.

Due to it's 5 linked Super Jubilee bracelet it hides the inevitable scratches gracefully almost with invisible delight. The bracelet is almost like an oversized mesh that hugs my wrist. Comfortable. No wonder just the bracelet alone is worth USD 2,575.00 in DavidSW.

The fluted bezel and super jubilee bracelet combination makes this Rolex Datejust 36mm 116324 the quintessential Datejust!

Well, sort of if I can just see the time in the dark. I should have gotten the stick dial.

Question is, what is your next Rolex?
