You will get used to the size either way. So focus on the model difference rather than size.

With BLRO money probably you can get the SD43 + BLNR and you end up with 2 great watches that cover both sizes and functions. With 7.25" wrist you will enjoy both without any problem

With a 7.25” wrist, you are fine regardless. The Yachtmaster looks perfect on you, as a matter of fact...beautiful watch! You can’t go wrong with the SD43 though, for, unless Rolex does an overhaul on the ‘18 Submariner, which is entirely possible, the SD43 is going to be highly sought after for some time.

YMII is going to look way bigger than the SD43. 43 actually looks smaller on me than a sub. Here it is on my 6.5” wrist. So it will look great on you!

I'm certain the SD will work for you. I don't think either of the other two look too big either.

What a 44mm looks like on a 6.75" wrist :
So I think a 43mm on your 7.25" wrist should look smashingly great! |

Buy the SD43! I have a 7.25 wrist and I have worn mine 24/7 for about three months now.... it's perfect.

You can play with the fitment on the SD43 more than a YM II so you will without question get a great fit.
I think you will be absolutely fine with the SD. |

The best advice yet.. The YMII doesn't look too big to me. Size wise the SD43 will be better than the 40mm watches IMO. I think 40s are too small really. I have 7.25' wrist and have a 45 Panerai.. And will be getting a 47.. If I find a SD43 at a AD I would likely get it!

It s not that the sd43 is too big.
It s that people with small wrist think it should too big. Which for them it might be. If you have small wrist wear a small watch. If you have a small waist do you wear Extra large pants? Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk |

You could definitely pull off the SD but if the BLRO is a realistic option then look no further.

I know its probably perspective but that Deepsea looks massive on your wrist in that picture

The SD43 wears much, much smaller than the YM2. I'd go so far as to say that the YM2 wears the largset of all the Rolex references (including the Deepsea) in all but case thickness. So there's no point using the YM2 as a comparison to the SD43. I have quite small wrists and the SD43 is extremely comfortable to wear. Removal of the divers extension is a must if you are not going to use it (IMO) and the wider bracelet and clasp make it extremely well balanced on the wrist. I'd say that the DS 43 wears much closer to the Sub - see comparison pic below of mine (I've tried to fnd two pics with a similar perspective)

You will not have a problem with the size of the SD43. Once properly adjusted it will look great.

I'm in the same boat, would like to try one on but ADs don't have it. If you must find something close to SD43 size for use as a preview try a Pelagos.
