How do you get on the waiting list? Is it through your local dealer?

This watch was exclusive to ordering direct from omega online. You can go to the omega site to try a waitlist position. Good luck, it looks like a great speedy!

Thanks. I should have ordered when I had the chance, but passed.

I just put me name on the wait list.

I ordered one. Anyone have an idea how much the stock bracelet will run? I really think it looks smashing on the bracelet and I generally an not a strap person. TIA.

I have a reservation for one, but will most likely sell it off as I have just acquired a full gold 150th anniversary Speedmaster..... So I wont be needning the SpeedyTuesday...

So if anyone is interested there is a chance mine will be available

interest in ST is very real. Long waiting list at my local OB. Those who got theirs reserved are very fortunate.

I have always loved the Speedmaster and so when the opportunity to get on the Speedy Tuesday list came up I had to do it.

No ETA on mine so far. If I get it and my wrist can't deal with the 42mm case I think my head might be turned by some of the prices being put out there for resale.

Anyone looking to acquire should PM me.

Mine is arriving sometimes in August, they say. While there are many cool watches to compete in this segment/price class, I think this one is pretty unique and cool. I don't think it has the artificial hype of the Paneristi edition Panerais which all died down, but who knows...

Sppedmaster 57

Bought the new Speedmaster '57' 331.12.42.51.01.002 with the leather strap from Omega Boutique Shop for £4100 new. Had liked the photos and reviews of this watch pre-launch and went to try them on and handle a couple at the boutiques....but thought it very pricey initially and ....well, over priced really, regardless of the 9300 movement reviews. But I really did like it and it was only the over price that put me off a purchase, not good value I thought. But when I got a more reasonable purchase price from an Omega Boutique of £4100, I jumped at the chance to buy. Certainly a very well sized Speedy and the finished machine dressed movement looks fab through the display back, as does the Broad Arrows. Wearing it (very comfortable) non-stop for 4 weeks it's accuracy so far is within +2 seconds a day on the 9300 movement. I am amazed at the number of people who actually stopped and said..."ah, you've got the new "Speedmaster 57 Broad Arrow, very nice....always liked this watch.....good purchase." I'm happy. Only downside for me is I wish it had a better luminosity at night....and I still prefer my Omega Moonwatch Professionals to wear.

Would you be able to post some pics of the 57 reissue Speedy? Many thanks!

To give you an idea I just got a 19m speedy racing bracelet for my ck2998. That came to £540. So at a similar conversion roughly usd700 or so I guess assuming similar pricing cross ccy.

How wide are the lugs? A speedy pro bracelet would not fit?

I think it would fit - I gather folks are using the older style bracelet because the case of the ST is all brushed not brushed/polished and some feel the all brushed older bracelet is a better match I guess.

Just got an email from Omega stating the watches are coming out in small batches and in no order. Deliveries should be completed by the end of September.

This just means that "Hey, in Switzerland we take July and August off for vacation, so don't contact us, we'll ping you sometimes in September..."

Isn't Omega releasing a new Limited Edition every week/month?

If so, what's the charm?

There is no charm in the limited editions for sure, it's a silly practice and I don't think anyone really likes the idea (to this extent @ least). But once in awhile they come out with a "nice" LE....Speedy Tuesday is definitely in that category. Hence the hoopla.
