I heard stories of grand complications smashing hard onto the bottom glass pane. Precious metal is precious but not hard. :(

Oh my, how did you guess?

I had a look at a grand complication and as I was passing it back I nick the pane and scratched the bezel. It was very loud.

Everyone stopped talking and after what felt like an eternity, I joked, I'll buy it for 35% off.

Without missing a beat, the manager said OKAY. I walked out with a grand complication. I still have the plastic on it.

At least they left the carpeted floor so I don’t have to bring my knee pads when I beg

Can’t really see the scratch on the bezel. Congrats for getting this beauty at AD with such a big discount.

AD scratched the bezel on my Aqua nicking the glass taking it out of the case . Takes nothing to scratch the mirrored polish. Took it home with a small discount.

Thats a ingenious way to get a hell of a deal if serious. Got me thinking of doing the same as I was just looking at the Pilot in rose gold last week. Kidding of course..
