Aviator 8

I want to add a blue dial watch to my collection. I’m really digging this Aviator 8.

Anyone have one? If so, can you post some wrist shots and maybe some feedback?

Thanks.

I have the aviator 8 with black dial on bracelet and like it very much; a great Breitling for a non aviator who just wants a well made and good looking watch, not cluttered with extraneous information and functions, that's easy to read.

I have it, but I got it when it was still Navitimer 8 so my numerals are more white than the faux-tina they've now gone to. Both are great. I have mine on a blue leather strap. The watch has fantastic proportions and I wear it very regularly at work with a suit on. No issues, really love it. Go for it!

I don’t have one, but I wish I did. The case is great, I love the shape and the finishing. It’s a good alternative to something like the IWC Mark XVIII.

Yes, I like this much more than the blue dial IWC Mark XVIII.

It’s a great looking Breitling. I’m really surprised that it does not get more attention on the different forums. As much as I like this one I’m a bigger fan of the Day&Date.

Cool watch, but I would also recommend taking a look at (not hating on the Aviator, just more suggestions):
1) Superocean Heritage II in Blue
2) Avenger 43 in PVD Blacksteel & Blue Dial

^I am a huge fan of the SOHs in Blue, especially the older non-II Chronograph in Blackeye Blue (have owned one for nearly 3.5 years).

Agree on the Avenger 43 suggestion. I love the Aviator, too, but the Avenger 43’s are great watches as well. Worth a look.

Beautiful watch but I would lean toward white as well. Purely personal preference.
As I like to say, preference is exactly that, no right or wrong.

I dig the day date!
