Hey Guys looking to purchase my first Rolex, there is a local charity auction and I noticed they have a Submariner coming up. They said they don't know if its authenticate or not I looked at some YouTube videos to see if it could be fake but so far it checks out... I could be wrong, can someone please tell me what to look for, I got some images below

Agreed that you should buy from an authorized AD, as fleecebay, etc. are minefields filled with junk. Do not take the risk, which is large.

This. It will sour your watch experience for the rest of your life. Why people risk that kind of money instead of saving and doing it right is beyond me.

Nothing wrong with eBay as you have guarantees including PayPal or cc. Have watch checked out by trusted watch repair store. I’ve bought some amazing pieces. No guarantees when buying on forums.

You can tell for sure by looking at the serial number. How it is placed on the rehaut.

Run away very fast from any seller who says that he doesn't know if a watch is authentic.

That's the oldest line in the world to skirt ebay rules and we've seen it a million times in the Watch Out section.

Another hard and fast rule is to never buy from someone who sends lousy pictures of a watch.

Both of those apply to this watch, but really the first is enough to look elsewhere.
