Turtle got my vote. It's beautiful, iconic, inexpensive, reliable, stout, good wrist present, very comfortable to wear with aftermarket super jubilee bracelet and Marine Master quick adjust 300m claps. I like it so much that I bought another for spare :)

I prefer the turtle but it’s a matter of personal preference. I like the vintage look and case shape of the turtle. Check out the save the ocean turtle.

I think the Turtle is more classic, but I prefer (and purchased as a gift for my father) the Samurai.

I have both. A Prospex Turtle SRP779 and the Samurai is an SRPC93. I took the bracelet off of the Turtle and put a Bonetto Centurini rubber dive strap. I wore it quite a bit last summer. Super comfy. The dial is great. Especially in the sun.

I’ve only had the Samurai for two weeks so I can’t make a fair comparison. I’m still in the honeymoon phase with it. The dial is unique and the watch doesn’t wear big. I don’t have any complaints with either. FWIW I have 8” wrists.

I have had several of each and have found that my tastes go toward the Turtle. Both are very nice but the Turtle sits on my wrist better and I like the look.

Turtle. More iconic with great heritage. These are my two:

I'll be a naysayer and say Samurai! I don't like the cushion shape of the Turtle.

Turtle. Mini Turtle, to be more specific. I do dig the orange dial Samurai though.

I love the case design of the samurai, the angles are so sharp and modern looking
