It's real. Don't worry. Looks identical to my 114060. Has all the right markings, that crown engraving on the crystal would be near impossible to replicate.

If you think the LEC would be difficult to replicate, then you haven't seen a lot of fakes. There are some remarkably good fakes with very accurate LECs running around.

Please take no offense sir but by that last comment it tells me you don't necessarily need to be accessing watches whether they are fake or not. Good counterfeiters have been utilizing laser etching for years now on their replica Rolex's. Its sorry but very true!

Looks good here
Thing is the lasers the reps use are clearly not as advanced and expensive as the ones rolex would use.
They may be able to make em smaller, but will never replicate the legibility

Pics look good, but as mentioned earlier, fakes from this model are pretty close to "perfect". Buy the seller, or have it opened up.

Surprised no one has commented on the mark or misprint on the "U" in perpetual.

There are plenty of people on this site that would be throwing a fit over that

These threads crack me up. Why would you spend money on a watch and then ask if it's official?

My apologies then, wasn't aware the engraving was that easily reproduced.

Looks legit. Hopefully the serial matches the warranty card. That said I could tell you for sure if I felt the crown action.

Everyone's saying it looks great, but no one is worried that the LEC is HIGHLY visible in all of the photos?

LEC visibility is largely lighting dependent. And, these macro shots are about a 20X magnification on a computer screen. It's not particularly visible in the distance shots, as one would expect.

The LEC representation wouldn't be a reliable tell in this photo set.

Quite a big quality control issue on the "U" in "Perpetual".

Open the case case back and identify the movement. A quick test is pull the crown out in 3rd position, clockwise should advance the hands and counter clockwise the opposite. Most fakes that high quality use Asian 2836 movements. If it passes this test it is likely a genuine Rolex, but not for sure.

I say it is fake. LEC is very visible. It is very hard to see and taking a picture is even harder. You need light hit at 30 degrees
See my pic.

Other things you can do it weigh it on a scale. Weight should be spot on with all links. Another thing you can do is shoot an iPhone 6 slow motion video. You should see 8 beats per second.

That watch sure does look 100% legit except for that etching.
Can't phantom being able to capture that on a photo from a couple of angles as has been done.I have probably met the Pope more times than I have been able to see it on mine. Ok, maybe I have seen it a couple of times whereas never met Pope but it is that har for my aging eyes.
