Steve, the Timezone is a pretty good avenue/site. As with anything, you have to do your research and use the usual cautions when purchasing on the web, but there are many solid buyers and sellers. Many of them i have seen on here as well. They have the Sales Corner for items under $5K, and the ShowCase for items above the that.

I bought my GMT and an old 1603 Datejust from PonyCar350/Jared on Timezone. He's rock-solid. I see him on this sales forum as well.

I have seen several Cartiers FS on there and they seem to move, so i wouldn't hesitate to list em on there. Good Luck, Greg

TZ is a great site for info and sales - I've bought and sold on there without a hitch. If you have a low post count, just have a Word document of references handy.

I think TZ uses the same format as here: [ IMG]http://www.testurl.com[ /IMG] (remove the spaces)

Try hitting 'preview post' before submitting, bc TZ's edit function is abysmal.

I've used the FS forum on TZ to purchase with much success but TRF is my only Rolex discussion forum.

Timezone does not use the IMG code rather it uses HTML code if you want the photo embeddd in your post.

Alternatively you can simply use a link to your photo.

Timezone is a good site to sell your watches. If a seller contacts you directly via email, just do your research first. When you setup an account with TZ, ensure you don't reveal your email addy through your profile. Let them contact you via the web site, this way it forces them to register.

I bought and sold several watches there including my 14060.

Please keep in mind that many TZ sellers (probably more than 50%) violate the site's own stated grading scale.

When you sell your watches, you might want to be a bit more "liberal" with your description just to match the rest of the guys...or be brutally honest and risk losing $$$. I prefer to be the latter.

I know. I've been busy as we've been hosting a workshop with Eric Hipple (former quarterback for Detroit Lions) on Depression and Suicide Risk (He lost his 15 year old son to suicide 7 years ago) as May is Mental Health Month. I spend a lot of time reporting but have not had any time lately. We bought a piece of property to open a new clinic and are groundbreaking in a few weeks. We have contractor's putting in bids and looking at plans and all that jazz. So my life has been hectic to say the least. I also got myself a new computer at work this past week so I've been transferring all of my data from the one to the other.

Let's get back at it Steve. The thieves are sneaking stuff through.
