I stumbled across this thread purely by accident but I'm glad I did. What an amazing story and history to this watch. It's amazing to see it in its current condition. What a fantastic family heirloom.

Great you found the thread and I appreciate the feedback. Found two picts of watch from around 8 years ago on my daughters wrist. Looks like she was in a sassy mood. I wore it on this tropical nato for years.

Photo in the sun
not the best focus but the gold on the dial really pops. When the early bezel inserts fade they all take on their own unique hue.

When I serviced the watch 15 years ago the watchmaker "offered" to swap out the dial and bezel to something less aged for me. Not an offer that inspires confidence.

Saturday drive
Some quick pictures while out for am drive yesterday. Fail on getting both watch and car into focus at same time but an out of focus gilt dial is still rather pretty.

The kind comments are beyond appreciated. Just snapped a few pictures of the watch. Sharing a few new picts of the watch just made my day. Thank you.

One of the picts captures the brown in the dial that comes out in when the light hits it in a certain way and 2 of our French bulldogs decided to photobomb.
