Real or Fake? LA Downtown Jewelry District

Hello,

I am a watch novice, and I am shopping for a new Datejust Mens Steel Rolex to give as a wedding gift.

I don't trust eBay and most of online retail shops. However, Rolex selection at Los Angeles downtown jewelry district (around Hills and 6th St) is very nice. The price is about 30% discounted from what the authorized dealers sell for. The shop keepers in downtown jewelry district swear by the authenticity, and emphasize that their shops will be out of business and shut down if they ever sell fake goods. It does come with a real looking box and papers.

Should I believe them or not?!
Let me know your thoughts. THANKS!

They are Grey Dealers. I have bought from them. They also do their own servicing, and it does not cost $500 a pop. My friend once left the crown of his GMT open in a water pool, and took it there to be repaired for only $135. (I don't think it was totally flooded, but still the movement was introduced to water). This was 4 years ago, and it still runs great.

They are reputable. Their major customers are the business owners from the LA garment district. Their storefronts are not fancy like a Ben Bridges, but they got some $$$ Blings for clients who have a relationship with them.

If you find one that you like and provides good service, please post their contact info (or PM if that's against protocol here).

Thanks.
