Icon20 ⛳ Finally New Golf Clubs!!! Wanna Play?

I have been playing TaylorMade Burner XD Irons since they came out and Finally got a new set of clubs last week.

First round went well but I'm going need several more rounds to get a better feel for them. New technology is Awesome! Getting a lot more distance from the M4's.

Playing next week with Brian (Briboxer) If anyone wants to get a game together let me know. It would be great to get a TRF Foursome out on the links! PM me if you are interested...

Great clubs! Played the M2s for years. They were very long and forgiving. I have more control with my P790s but are less forgiving.

I play the M4 driver with a regular flex shaft and it is fantastic. Very long and forgiving. I am sure you will love the driver. Haven’t tried the M4 irons though.

Nice set Larry. Are these your first irons with graphite shafts? No new hybrids? I've been playing a 9 year old set of Cally forged. Love hitting them but have been thinking of a change. The old bones just don't have the club head speed they once did. This just gets me thinking more. Wish I was nearby. I'd help fill the 4. Enjoy.

Very nice! New golf clubs are about as good as a new watch.

I’d love to play but we still have 3-4 months up here in the Northern US

I’ve been playing the M2 driver and really like it. Might be time for an upgrade to the M4!

Wait a little bit. The M5/M6 are coming out so you can find the M4 for a good deal.

Nice set Larry. I play TM woods and I hit the P790's, 770's on the monitor a couple times. TM makes great clubs; although I am going back to Titleist MB's this spring. Did another fitting a couple weeks ago. Think I have a new set figured out. Will stick with the TM M2 driver and 3 wood though.

Hit em long and straight!

Had the original M2 and now the M4 and prefer the distance and sound/feel of the M2. The M4 with the twist face does seem to help a little on those off center hits though. I also the same stiff flex 70gr shaft on both heads worked best vs the 60 and 55gr ones.

What I really like is the new GAPR series of hybrids. Have the GAPR HI 3 but should have went GAPR 4 HI and GAPR 3 Mid.

Yes so true, and a whole let less expensive, but not as cool to look at. Although the PXG and Xxio sure can get pretty pricey! These are the Patek's of golf clubs.

Very nice. I had a set of golfing sticks but gave them away, as I found I wasn't improving at all. Perhaps I needed to play more than once or twice a year. I always found myself thinking about going out to dinner by about the fifth hole. Enjoy.
