Icon9 Damn! My 388 main spring appears broken

My new to me 388 just stopped.

It was very well cared for by the previous owner and factory warranty expired just over a year ago.

got nervous with covid kicking in last summer. didn't want it in the queue with potential closures and even bankruptcies if you know what i mean.

The watch had about 24hrs of total use and was just outside the warranty. Its apparently a known issues on these models. I'm hoping Panerai can just do the spring and only the spring for nominal cost.

My 210 and 250 never ever had any issues.
