Agreed. If you've had years of experience owning and driving 911's the current 991 feels like a very different car. The Cayman has become the purer driving experience.

Congrats ! I'm sure you will have all kinds of fun with that car especially if you are close to some of the great roads in the North Georgia mountains and of course the Tail of the Dragon.

Another Porsche guy agrees. One thing which has occurred to me is that the 911 I had was so fast that opportunties to totally floor the accelerator rarely occurred on a public road, and if they did occur, you'd be in licence-losing territory within about five seconds. With my nice, slow, sweet-handling Cayman, I can happily floor it without quite so much paranoia. It's actually more fun to drive than the 911 was, and the 911 was the best "drivers' car" I'd owned at the time.
