Maybe give it another shot. It took my wife a couple of episodes, but she is now hooked.

I'm watching it but I find it boring most of the time. I must be missing something here?

Jason Bateman is such a good actor. Great show, looking forward to Season 2.

Exactly. It was predictable, plot as thin as a saltine cracker, and Bateman should stick to funny roles. Every role played seemed to be a cliche, and it was getting painful to watch. Perhaps shows like Ray Donovan ruined this genre for me, hard to top that.

Predictable? I think not! Ozark is anything but predictable - at least in my opinion!

Agree to disagree.

Greg, did you watch the entire series or lose interest early? I didn't think it was too predictable either...as a whole. Not the most exciting series I've watched, but I didn't think it was terrible.

We watched it over a three day period and loved it. Also, check out, Bloodline on Netflix ,it's excellent as well.

Yew, watched it all over a period of about 8 days. Many of the 'plot twists' i saw coming, few i didn't. Too many cliche's peppered into the storyline (don't want to list them here, don't want to spoil the experience for those who haven't watched it). It's certainly not terrible, but IMHO, not exactly groundbreaking television that captures the watcher either. Just an opinion.

Finished this with my wife last night. Started watching because of this thread.

I love the show. Love Jason Bateman too. However, he seems to just be him. Which is good I suppose, as he's very engaging. But he doesn't show much range.

Anyway, love the show. Can't wait for next season.

We also absolutely loved it. Jason Bateman did a great job! Thought the writing and acting was excellent and highly recommend it.

Great show.

Sneaky Pete on amazon prime might be another to consider for those who liked this and are waiting for the next season.
