Good morning TRF! Wednesday challenge: TAKE IT EASY!

Life passes by FAST, so why not take YOUR time today?

Before running around to meetings, some ME time. Did you know Starbucks can do a french press and give you a ceramic mug to enjoy in their shops?

Have a TERRIFIC day!

Today I visit my folks, install a doorbell, play with visiting nieces & nephew, then grill for the whole lot of them.

The benefit of self-unemployment.

Been stressed out from a bunch of different things going on lately. This post and a license plate I saw on the way to work that said, "Y Give UP", have helped more than I expected.

Have a great day everyone..

Good morning G. Thanks for the reminder...Doing a presentation in front of a large audience tomorrow and Friday. Grinding a little so nice reminder to slow it down.

Stress free for me today too. Family came into town. Cut off work at noon and had lunch downtown. Followed by a trip out to one of the apple orchards. Apple fritters, fried apple pie, and Apple donuts. Now, getting the grill ready for dinner!

Good morning TRF! Wednesday challenge: TAKE IT EASY!

Well said Gerardo
Attachment is a memorial picture that someone very close sent to me from Barcelona..

Keep things in perspective

She said morning but meant mourning. Either spell check worked or 4 years of college didn't

Everyone take time for your loved ones

Looks like success all the way around.

Chiles en Nogada !!! Wow, we don't get the real stuff around here. Even when visiting Tempe AZ, at an "authentic" 3rd generation joint ...

Chiles en Nogada, poblano chiles stuffed with a ground turkey picadillo, covered in a creamy walnut sauce and sprinkled with pomegranate seeds. ... Chiles en Nogada (chilies in walnut sauce) is a classic Mexican dish, and is a specialty of the city of Puebla.

After sharing hard candies and tossing the football a bit, Dad's new doorbell went in without a hitch. My nephew was a great help; one of us has to read the directions, right? Then the grill.

I pretended I had to grill some "practice" burgers since I was unfamiliar with Dad's Weber. Grilled little ones a couple at a time. Plate it at the grill, and we'd demolish it in a fight of clattering forks. In time the kids were making their own. So we plowed through a couple pounds of fresh 80/20, a greasy dripping mess.

Dinner Round II, since the meat was eaten hanging around the grill, was sliced apple and a nice sharp cheddar, TaterTots and a veggie. Some decent Chilean Fuji's have been making their way onto our shelves; I'm trying to broaden the kid's taste experiences. It's tough, though. I was never like that as a kid! {ha!}
