Submariner date wheel stuck. Who to service?

The date wheel on my submariner is stuck between dates.
I purchased the watch on 3/13 so it is not under warrantee.
Should I send the watch to RSC and get a complete service and a warantee or someone like Rik Dietel.
Just looking for a direction to go from the fine folks here on TRF.

Try to manually advance the date a few times. Maybe even cycle the entire 1-31 days. See if that fixes the problem. Many ppl have had this issue but it may require a service.

Don't force it. If it won't un-stick with regular procedures get it looked at by someone competent. Don't do anything silly or try or cut corners. A well experienced watchsmith, like Vanessa, or RSC NY or Dallas are best for protecting your investment.

If it is stuck between days and just sits there then it is likely that the tooth used to flip the date ahead is broken off or the slap-spring to change days is broken.

If it is simply sticking between days but otherwise is working normally, it is possibly a friction issue (either too dry or to oily) and is a cleaning problem.
